Frequently Asked Questions

1. How do we book you to play our wedding?

Please fill in my contact form and I'll be in touch, if you'd like to chat on the phone, add a note to your initial enquiry and I'll arrange a time to give you a call.

2. How long will it take you to reply to our enquiry?

I always aim to respond within 48 hours, if you haven't received a response in this timeframe, please check your junk inbox.

3. We can't quite find the right package for our day, will you do a bespoke package for us?

Of course! Fill in the contact form, let me know your ideas and I'll do you a bespoke quote.

4. What happens if we choose to go ahead and book you?

I will send out a contract for you to read and sign and an invoice for a deposit.

5. How much deposit do you require?

I will need a 20% deposit in order to secure your booking, I cannot hold dates without this.

6. If you're not free to play our day, can you recommend another musician?

Absolutely! If you let me know your vibe I can give you some ideas of other musicians you'll love!

7. Can you learn any song we choose?

There will be some songs I won't be able to play on the guitar, but we can talk about me using a backing track.

8. Can we choose what songs you sing?

Absolutely! You can download my full repertoire and choose the entire setlist, but i'll also be more than happy to help you choose. One 45 minute set is usually about 12 - 15 songs, but make sure your let me know the ones you 100% want me to play so I know what to include incase we run out of time.

9. How far will you travel?

I will travel up to 50 miles for the Ceremony, Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast packages. For the day packages, I will travel as far as you like!

All bookings include 20 free miles, anything over this will be at a charge of 50p per mile.

If your wedding is over a 2.5 hour drive from Nottingham, I will need to stay nearby the night before so there's no chance of me getting stuck in traffic on the day. The cost of the accommodation will be reflected in your quote. (Don't worry I'll keep this as low as possible!)

10. What happens if we need to cancel our date?

If you need to move your wedding date, as long as I have your new date free, I'll move it free of charge. If this is not the case then the deposit is none refundable. â€‹If you cancel between 4 months - 30 days before your event, 50% of the total fee will still be owed. â€‹If you cancel within 30 days of the event, the full fee will still be owed.

11. Do you bring your own equipment?

I provide everything I will need, even a chair to sit on (I have chronic pain so will always need my chair to sit on to make sure I can manage my pain levels). My main set up is a Bose L1 Pro 8 which requires a power source.

12. Is your equipment PAT  tested?

All of my equipment is PAT tested. I will provide a PAT (portable appliance testing) certificate should your venue require one.

13. Do you have public liability insurance?

Yes! I am insured through insure4music for up to £1 million. I will provide a PLI certificate should your venue require one.

14. Are you neurodivergent friendly?

Yes! As a fellow neurodivergent I'm very understanding and easy to communicate with. Being neurodivergent means I may ask a few extra questions, just so I know exactly what I'm doing on the day :)

15. Do we need to feed you / provide your drinks?

This isn't nessacery but of course always very welcome!
